Perhaps one of the quickest handsome boats you can build, Dave Gentry's Chuckanut 15 is designed for paddling protected waters. With a capacity of 375 pounds, she is capable of hauling enough gear for overnight outings. And, her estimated 39 pounds means she's quite light and an easily managed to carry, and cartop, even at the end of the day's paddle. Skin is 8oz polyester.
The kayak's frame consists of six frames and the two stems, all cut from less than a half sheet of okoume or meranti marine plywood. Plans include a sheet of full-sized mold pattern plus 18 pages of detailed instructions.

If ordering Digital plan sets: These files are in PDF format. Some designs will have just a single page needed to be printed on large paper... typically if they had full-sized mold patterns. Other pages could be printed on letter or tabloid size paper, if you want to save printing costs. You'll see a measurement on pages that have full-sized drawings, so your local print shop will just need to print to that size.
