Description

Beamier, but no less elegant than the Wee Rob, this more stable double-paddle canoe can carry sail better. Any of the three lengths (13'6", 15'8", or 17'3") can be built using the same plans.

A perfect evening sail

I can think of only a handful of pastimes that give as much pleasure as taking this boat out in the evening as both the sun and the winds of the day are fading. The joy is in the simplicity. I tip my hat to Iain!

The Mac Gregor build begins

So far the plans look great and I have already finished the laminated stems fwd and aft. I will begin the mold cut outs this weekend and begin setting them up next week. This looks like a very sleek and well designed boat and I can’t wait to see the final outcome. Looking to finish this build by next spring. So far so good👍🏻👍🏻🤗🤗

As always with any Oughtred plans, very complete, easily readable / identifiable. Looking forward to starting the build. Of course Wooden Boat had them to my door in less than a week.
