WoodenBoat fans may recall Maritime Life & Traditions, and within that magazine they would have seen some of the fine work by Christian Topf. He also designed the lush website for that now defunct magazine. But he has clearly not lost sight of his passion for wooden boats.

This new book is just stunning... layout, design, and wonderful images all focused on  the building of the English Pilot Cutter Pellew, by Luke Powell and his team in Cornwall. She is the largest traditional wooden sailing boat to be built in the UK for decades.
