    Practical Indeed!

I love this book. It's a great compliment to older books on the subject. It starts with a great introduction to understanding the lines of a boat plan and builds from there, The book covers a range of small (7') to medium-sized (22') boats, for both rowing and sailing boats. A great addition to my library.

    A good read

Nice review of flat bottom designs. Excellent drawings, but as with most designs of this time period, sail plans are limited. Assume this is for a builder using more traditional methods of construction although plywood is mentioned a few times.

The best designs were his father’s.
