Description
Available only as Digital Download
by Sam Manning
You can make three different model boats: a dory, a row boat, and a peapod from this single download.
You'll download a total of 12 pages (including instructions) and print on 8-1/2" x 11" (or A4) paper. Better yet, use card stock—which is a tad heavier—for the pages with the boats. Granted, you can print out and glue to cardboard to make the pieces stiffer, and then cut-out.
These are simple but interesting boats, real shapes—not "cartoons" of boats. They require few household tools: scissors, razor knife, awl (or other sharp pointed tool for scoring), masking tape, glue gun or stapler, Popsicle stick (for smoothing/burnishing).
You may be familiar with Sam's work. He has written and illustrated several books, as well as having been a contributor to WoodenBoat magazine for many years. For more, click SAMUEL F. MANNING.
Yes, you can build a fleet and paint them all differently.
Want bigger models? Print on 11" x 17" .

This isn't an "instant" process, so if we're asleep, you may need to wait for regular business hours, for us to process the order. Although we are quite timely, we may not be processing on weekends & holidays.
